What is a learning session?
The Fontan Outcomes Network hosts two learning sessions each year, including one in the spring and one in the fall. Learning sessions are valuable opportunities for our learning health network community—patients, parents, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and other care center team members—to come together to build community, learn about the network’s latest work, share learnings, discuss important topics, and outline key actions to take through the next six months. The six month-periods following a learning session are called the action period. Learning sessions are meant to inform and catalyze the work of the action period with the ultimate goal of improving outcomes and quality of life for all individuals with single ventricle heart disease and Fontan circulation.
Who is invited to this learning session?
The FON Spring 2022 Virtual Learning Session will be a working meeting for team members of our 12 care centers. Not a member of one of these care centers? The network will be rolling out additional events later this year that will be open to the entire FON community.
