RESEARCH OVERVIEW & PROPOSALS
The Research Workgroup is responsible for monitoring research projects that utilize FON registry data. The committee is responsible for reviewing research proposals, providing feedback on study design, methods, and analysis, and making recommendations regarding acceptance of research proposals.
Submitting a Letter of Intent
The Fontan Outcomes Network (FON) requires a letter of intent from investigators seeking to submit a research proposal. The goal is to help the FON Research Workgroup gauge proposal feasibility and alignment.
FON’s Letter of Intent Submissions open on March 1, 2025. The submission deadline is April 15, 2025.
Interested researchers are encouraged to prepare their letter for submission. Please note that we will only be distributing enrollment data for the projects selected. Longitudinal data is not available at this time.
